The world's first lunar science multimodal professional large model has been released.

The Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in collaboration with Alibaba Cloud, has released the first "Lunar Science Multimodal Professional Large Model." This model utilizes visual, multimodal, and natural language processing technologies, focusing on the identification of lunar craters with an accuracy rate exceeding 80%. It can rapidly process large amounts of data, assisting researchers in discovering new scientific information and enhancing research efficiency. The characteristics of lunar craters are crucial for studying lunar geological evolution. The model analyzes various types of data, such as spectra, elevation, and gravity, to help answer questions about the morphology, size, and age of craters.
